ABOUT

Samantha Bartley, MS OTR, is the owner of Sensory Connections, and has been an occupational therapist since 2015. She attended Indiana University Purdue University for her Bachelors in Secondary Education, with a concentration in English. She then went on to receive her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University. Samantha has a love for children and has spent much of her professional life working with children in a variety of settings. She has realized the importance of sensory integration in a child’s ability to function, play, and participate in their family; she wants to create a supportive clinic environment for families who are seeking therapy services with a whole body approach. Samantha has specialty training in Therapeutic Listening, Reflex Integration, Blomberg Rhythmic Movement (BRMT), DIR/Floortime, and Myofascial Release. She provides occupational therapy with an emphasis on each child and family’s specific and individual needs and differences. She provides trauma-informed care, supporting children with histories in foster care, adoption, and trauma histories. She has provided occupational therapy in outpatient hospital and private practice settings, as well as through the First Steps Early Intervention Program.
